Obituary of William Henry Winters
After a life well lived our beloved Bill passed away with his loving wife Jeane by his side on Thursday April 4, 2024 at the age of 96. Beloved husband of Jeane for 70 years. Cherished Dad of Rita (Dick Pettes), Maria (Chris O’Gorman) and Robert (Lorraine) and father in law of Debbie. Predeceased by his sons Harry, Peter and Louis. Proud and adoring Opa of Dan (Kyna), Devin (Brigitte), Megan, Kayla, Will, and Harrison. Fondly remembered by his great-grandchildren Kailum, Austin, Bryson, Emmett and Charlotte. Dear brother of Josephine (late Friet), Wilhelmine (late Wim) and brother in law of Riet,Leny and Gonnie.
Predeceased by his siblings Elizabeth (late Petrus), Johannes (late Annie), Gerardus (late Doka), Johanna (late Bennie), Lidia (late Harry) and Alyousis (late Eugenie), Harry, Frans, Maria (late Bertus) and Anthony.
Bill will be fondly remembered by his many dear nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.
Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St. S, Renfrew on Friday April 12th from 2-4, and 6-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Renfrew on Saturday April 13, 2024 at 10:30 am. Spring interment St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Renfrew Victoria Hospital dialysis unit. The family wishes to thank Dr. Avelino, Dr. Joseph, Dr. Kemp, the staff at the dialysis unit of the Renfrew Victoria Hospital and the staff at Quail Creek for the wonderful care that was provided to our husband and dad.
