Obituary of William “Bill” David Guyea
Peacefully at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital with his family by his side on Sunday April 7, 2024 at the age of 81. Loving husband of Ina DeVries for 61 years. Loving Dad of Rhonda, Cindy (Doug Profitt), BJ (Lisa). Proud and loving Pops of Amanda (Chris), Josh (Lindsay), Matt (Leyla), Megan (Travis), Kelsey, Alex (Jade), Emma, Connor, Autumn and Rowin. Great-poppa of Leah, Beau and Charlotte. Dear brother of Glenda (Bob Hoare), Rolly (Brenda). Predeceased by his siblings Viola, Cora, John and Mike. Bill will be fondly remembered by his brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Bill was greatly involved in the town of Renfrew as a 2 term councillor and was a member of the Renfrew Lions Club, Renfrew Highland Pipes and Drums, Royal Canadian Legion and was a volunteer firefighter for 23 years. He loved the Town of Renfrew and most of all his family. He will be missed.
Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St S Renfrew on Friday April 19th from 5-8 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at the Calvary Penetcostal Church Renfrew, on Saturday April 20th at 11:00 am. Interment Rosebank Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation
