We announce the passing of Peter in Montreal on September 8, 2023 after a brief illness.
Beloved son of the late Maura Ryan and John Harrison of Port Hope.
Dear brother of Nancy (Michael), Patricia and Cathy (Phil) and nephew of Tom Ryan.
Uncle to Rhiannon and Caitlin, Lia and Alexander, Samantha, Lindsay and Alexandra and their children.
Extended family, including cousins and friends in Ontario, Quebec, UK and USA..
Friend to Garry Devost and his wife and children who provided love and support and were a second family to Peter in New Brunswick for many years.
Peter was the only boy in our family, an alter boy at Our Lady of Mercy, a Sea Cadet and an avid hockey player for the Port Hope Police Hockey team. He developed an interest in stamp collecting and trained as a mechanic and carpenter (like his maternal grandfather Michael) and worked in construction and later big rig servicing.
Private arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Pete to your local Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated
