Obituary of Bernie Villamere
VILLAMERE, Bernadette “Bernie” Ann (nee Evans) of Port Dover, passed away surrounded by the love of her family and friends at Norfolk General Hospital on Friday, August 16, 2024 in her 81st year. Predeceased by her husband and high school sweetheart Jerry (2007). Cherished mother of Ann Villamere of Toronto and Cheryl and Chris Wood of Port Dover. Proud and loving grandmother of Krystal (Anthony), Samantha, Joseph and Jeremy, great- grandmother (G.G) of Tanner. Dearest sister of Hugh (Helen), Helen, and Patricia (late Don). Dear sister in-law of the late Keith (Gwen), late Doug, Jean (late Pat), Jim (Margo) (late Marie), Cathy and Karen. She will be fondly remembered by her many cousins, nieces and nephews. Bernie will be sadly missed by her loving “Forever Friends”. Predeceased by her parents Gordon and Mary Evans of Port Dover. Friends are invited to share their memories of Bernie at visitation on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 7 pm to 9 pm at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME, 102 First Ave. Port Dover 519-583-1530. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 11 am at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, Lynn Park Rd. Port Dover. Father Augustine Ogundele celebrant. Interment Port Dover Cemetery. For those wishing, donations to Juravinski Hospital and Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
