Theresia Josephina Murtaugh Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother and Nana, Theresia Josephine Murtaugh on December 15, 2024. She passed away surrounded with her family by her side at the St. Catharines Hospital.
Theresa joins her loving husband, Patrick Sr. (2023) her parents Anthony and Petronella, and her brothers Art (Carol), Hank (Eva)and Pete. She will be forever missed by her children, Joanna (John), Patrick (Dorothy) and her loving grandchildren Destiny, Dawson, and Dakota. Also survived by her sister Jeanette (Jim) and brothers Tony (Beth) and Fred (Lenore). Beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place with arrangements entrusted to the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME. & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne.
The Murtaugh family will receive family and friends at the Vale Wellness Centre- Bocce Club on 550 Elizabeth Street in Port Colborne on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 1-5 pm.
If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the YMCA Niagara.
Theresia will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to have her in their lives.
