We are saddened to announce that on August 14, 2024, Mary Ann Passero passed away peacefully.
Mary Ann is survived by her loving mother Maria Addolorata, siblings Michael, Elisa, Joanne (Marc), Tony (Lise) and Nancy. Also survived by her nieces and nephews Tyler, Terrell (Eden), Gordy (Alyssa), Dena, Chantal (Craig), Melissa, Daniella, Nicci (Ryan), Emily (Joe), great nieces and nephews Ama, Finley, Abby, Elijah, Evander, Oliver and Amelia, aunts and uncles and many cousins who loved her deeply.
Predeceased by her father Nunzio and nephew Troy.
Mary Ann will be remembered as a very kind, intelligent, generous soul who loved animals. She had a great sense of humour and an infectious laugh. We will miss her very much and will cherish the many memories we all shared with her.
On behalf of our family, we would like to extend our thanks to the many who tended to Mary Ann at the St. Catharines General Hospital (a special thanks to Ashley). We would also like to give thanks to the St. Elizabeth Health Care team, with special thanks to PSW’s Sherlene and Jodie for their kindness and care provided to Mary Ann over the years.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral service will be held. Arrangements entrusted to the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Diabetes Canada, Cystic Fibrosis Canada, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Kidney Foundation or the SPCA.
