Sherilyn Fryia Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Sherilyn (Sherry) Fryia announce her passing at the age of 85.
Predeceased by her husband Chum (John) who was the love of her life for 76 years. They have finally been reunited after 30 years apart.
Sherry will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her children Mike (Laurie), John (Julie), Brian (Joanne) and Debbie (Todd Hill), and her grandchildren Shayne, Jamiera, Zach, Chris, Jason, Corey, Adam, Shawna, Mitch, Nick and Allie.
Sherry also has 19 great grandchildren who were always a great source of pride, love, laughter and lifeforce, as well as endless hours of baking.
Sherry is survived by her brother Rick (Mary Ellen) and her sister and best friend Judy (George) Waymark, and much loved nieces Maggie (Adam) and Kayla (Frank).
Sherry will also be remembered by the entire Hill family who became her second family when they opened their hearts and homes to her for the past 30 years, sharing holidays, special celebrations and lots of ‘n and stich’n.
Predeceased by her parents Jack and Vera Playford, brother Jackie and sister Gayle.
In keeping with Sherry’s wishes, there will be no service. Family will celebrate her life privately. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice in Sherry’s honour would be appreciated.
