Norman Moffat, 89 of Peterborough, Ontario, passed away with his beloved wife at his side June 26, 2024.
Noman is survived by his wife Audrey of 64 years, daughters Daile Moffat, Kendra (deceased), and grandchildren, Andrew and Samantha. Dear brother of Allan (Gwenn) Moffat , and Pauline (deceased) (Rick) Arbanella, nieces and nephews. A loving father, husband, grandfather, brother, and friend to everyone.
Norm loved sports, especially golf, hockey, baseball, and scuba diving. He was an avid bridge player, travelling, and also enjoyed attending the theatre. His love of boating was a passion, and enjoyed travelling along the Trent Severn System every summer. He worked as a Professional Engineer for 39 years, at General Electric.
A special thank you to the people at Fairhaven for their loving care and support during his final days. Also, the family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude for all the support and love his friends have expressed towards Audrey and family.
As per Norm’s request there will be no memorial or visitation services, and will be cremated, with arrangements entrusted to Ashburnham Funeral Services. There will be a private celebration of life with family at a later date.
