Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s at Fleming, on Saturday, December 2, 2023 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of 69 years of Marilyn (nee Barry). Loving father of Paul (MaryAnne), Barry (Lois), Terry predeceased, Keith (Gun), Peter (Carrie), Mary Thomas (Mel), Bob (Luanne), John (Lisa), Peggy Hirst (Trevor) and Trevor (Amanda). Dear grandfather of 31 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Gilbert Roy and Annie McDonald and sisters Mary Pettipas, Marg Doucette, Anne Stothart, and Theresa Davidson and brothers Joe, Tom, John and Leo.
Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. Funeral Mass at SACRED HEART CHURCH on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 12 noon. Reception to follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall (across from the Cathedral). Cremation followed by a private family inurnment at Highland Park Cemetery.
