PEEL, Carl John – While Surrounded by his loving family, Carl passed away peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Monday, January 1st, 2024 at the age of 86. Carl will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Jeanne (nee Lasenby), cherished son Mark Peel, dear sister’s Diane Minnicola (Tom) and Susan Martin (Paul), brother-in-law David Lasenby (Sharon), and many nieces and nephews. Carl was a true sports fan who loved the Peterborough Petes and Toronto Blue Jays. He also enjoyed playing sports as well and was an avid golfer. He was a long-time member of the Peterborough Legion, branch 052. In keeping with Carl’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Saturday, January 6th, 2024 at 10:00 A.M., followed by a light luncheon.
