Brian Meringer Obituary
On January 2, 2024 the world lost a wonderful man. At the age of 64, Brian left us peacefully and we will not be the same without him in our lives. He was deeply loved by Bonnie, his wife & best friend of 42 years, his mother, Marylou (Leon), his brother Paul (Yoslany) and his two children Roby (Ryan), and Rachel (Brendon). His treasured grandchildren, who he called “my babies”, were the absolute joy of his life. We will be certain Tessa, Sadie, Violet & Carson will always know about their Pa and how much he loved them. Brian was a retiree of GM. He proudly served for ten years (1992-2002) as a volunteer firefighter in the community of Clarington. It was well known by all that knew him that he loved to keep busy and was always there to help anyone who needed it. He loved to travel and along with friends he saw much of this world. There is nothing Brian enjoyed more than a gathering of the people he loved most. We invite you to join us at our home in Peterborough where we can celebrate his life, honour his memory and remember the good times. Sunday, January 7, 2024 from 1-4 pm at 18 Wishing Well Lane.
We begin to remember not just that you died but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.
