Peacefully at Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke, with her family by her side on Wednesday July 24, 2024 in her 94th year. Monica Niemen, beloved wife of the late Enard Nieman. Loved mother of Judith Beaulieu (Dave) Barry’s Bay and Wesley Nieman (Kathryn), Cavan ON. Loving grandmother of Mark (Mylan), Sarah (Eric), Nathan (Amanda), Adrienne , Jessica (David) and step-grandchildren Billy Jo Stead (Jamie) and Jody St. Amand. Great grandmother to Eric, Levi, Ava, Amelia, Nicholas and Joshua. Predeceased by great grandson William.
Predeceased by her sisters Florence Pletz (late Bernard), Theresa Zmija (late Emile), Susan Banfield (late Herb) and brothers Raymond Kasobuski, Benjamin Kasobuski (late Stella), Ambrose Kasobuski) (late Irene). Sister-in-law of Rita Kasobuski. Sadly missed by all her nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Philip and Annie (nee Yakabuskie) Kasobuski.
Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories of Monica with her family during visitation at the Murphy Funeral Home, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Tuesday July 30th from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. followed by a Service in the Chapel at 11:30 a.m. Interment Zion Evangelical United Cemetery.
