Jennifer Kathleen Wilson (née Agley), 63, of Petawawa passed away quietly on the afternoon of Sunday, October 20th surrounded by family following her two-year battle with cancer.
Born on the 14th of May to Frederick and Eileen Agley (née Allen) in Jacques Cartier, Quebec. Sister to siblings Brian Agley, Bruce Agley, Ron Agley, Wendy Agley Rideout, Gary Agley and Lucy Agley Kirk. Devoted partner to Randy Teno. Loving mother to daughters Tiffany Staley (née Wilson) and Dallas Wilson, sons Darren Wilson and the late Bradley Moreau, son-in-law Nicholas Currie, and daughter-in-law Deb Irby Wilson. Affectionate nana to grandchildren Michael Wilson, Melody Staley, Elliott Wilson, Elijah Currie, and great grandbaby Leo Drury.
A decorated 20-year veteran of the armed forces and skilled crafter, she never gave up.
A Celebration of Jennifer’s Life will be held on Sunday, November 3rd from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a reception, and will be held at Murphy Funeral Home 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke, Ontario. Guests will be invited to share thoughts and memories of Jennifer. Inurnment will follow at a later date at St. Stephen’s Church in Chambly, Quebec where she will be laid to rest alongside her father and her brother, Ronnie.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, a charity long supported by Jennifer.
