Suddenly at home on Thursday October 10, 2024 at the age of 60 Tom lost his fight with cancer. Beloved husband of Lori. Loving father of A.J. (Lindsey), Renee (Steve), Jordan (Jess), and Jeremy (Mary). Proud “Grampy” of 13 grandchildren. Survived by his sister Sue McDonald (Malcolm and family), brother in law to Paul Beckford (Lori and family). He is fondly remembered by his extended family and friends.
Tom married Lori, the love of his life in 1999, who survives him. Together they built a beautiful life together along with their four children and 13 grandchildren. They knew him for his witty sense of humour, unwavering determination, selfless acts & positive mental attitude (PMA). He was known by his grandchildren as grandpa Tom or grampy (grumpy grandpa); when in fact he was always so positive even in the darkest of times.
Tom had a deep appreciation for nature, it was his sanctuary where he could escape the stresses of everyday life and find peace; especially in the Ardbeg triangle. Tom will be greatly missed by everyone he crossed paths with, if you met Tom you remembered him and he remembered you.
Dance free in the aura of the northern lights, we will be forever watching.
Cremation arrangements entrusted to Torrance Funeral Home (89 Bowes St Parry Sound). As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
