We are so sad to hear of Norma’s passing. Autumn was excited to meet her. We will think of her whenever Autumn is swimming, because she will learn to swim in a gift from Norma. I will think of her whenever I learn a new anishinaabemowin word, something I’ve been trying to do and she always tried to help me with finding resources. We can’t be at the funeral because the drive is a little bit too much for a 2 month old, but we will take some moments on that day to remember just how kind and special Norma was.
-Gillian Cluroe and baby Autumn
