Doris Reta MacLennan (Hoddy), 91, passed away Friday May 24, 2024. She is predeceased by her husband William, sister Barb and daughter Janet. She will be missed by her children Chris (Risa), Phillip (Ann-Marie), Dave (Anne), Linda, and Darren (Lisa) and sister Carol. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Joseph, Lindsy, Becky, Laura, Corben, Clinton, Madison and her 9 great-grandchildren. Doris was born and lived in Parry Sound and spent much of her time on Hoddy’s Side Road as a homemaker. There was very little she could not do around the house. She could sew anything, quilt, crochet, knit, garden, make maple syrup and was especially known for her delicious pies. She loved to play cards and usually ended up winning. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Burial at Lakeview Cemetery. The Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday June 16, 2024 at the Parry Sound Legion from 2 – 5 PM.
