A lover of many song birds, went peacefully at Chapman House on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, in her 65th year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Kivell. A loving mother to Travis Kivell and Vaniessa van Huisstede of Massie. Dear sister of Karen and Brian Ebel of Owen Sound, Bill and Sandy Madill of Allenford and Bryan and Gail Madill of Montreal. Lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her parents Lorne and Emma Madill, her brother Dennis Madill and her sister Marilyn Byers. Cathy will be missed for stubbornness and her witty attitude. She loved to shop avoiding the glares from Don and she loved her animals, whether they were chickens or the dogs. There will be a celebration of life at the Massie Hall on Saturday, September 30th at 12:00 p.m. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery on October 4th at 12:00 p.m. Donations in Cathy’s honour may be made to Chapman House or the Canadian Cancer Society.
