Robert passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at the Glebe Centre, in his adopted hometown of Ottawa. A true global citizen: he lived, loved, laughed and worked in many different countries. This custodian of Bodkin Island, New Brunswick was adored by his four sons and seven grandchildren, and could always find common ground with whomever he met.
A Memorial Service for Robert will be held on Sunday, November 3, at 3:00p.m. at the First Unitarian Congregation of Ottawa, 30 Cleary Avenue, Ottawa. (www.firstunitarianottawa.ca/clearydetour.html)
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Glebe Centre or the Schizophrenia Society of Canada would be much appreciated.
