Peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital-Civic Campus on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at the age of 89. Dear son of the late Agnes Melanson (née Martin) and the late Joseph Howard Melanson. Cherished husband of the late Deborah Melanson (née Clarke). Loving father of Mark, John (Karen), Bryan and Elena. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren : Carlin,Ryllan, Adele, Reid, Keaton, Nathan, Sara and great-grandchild. Dear brother of Barry and uncle of Kevin. Family and friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway) on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 10 a.m., followed by the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Special thanks to the Longfields Manor for their loving care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Almonte General Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
