It is with profound sadness that we share the news that Pearl Aileen Hanna passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, on May 26th, 2024 at the age of 96.
Pearl was predeceased by her beloved spouse, Ernie Hanna (December 2001). Their marriage was a testament to their commitment and devotion to each other.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter Debbie (Bravar), who was her pride and joy, and her devoted son-in-law Bill. She was the cherished grandmother of Angela and her husband Jonathan, Samantha and her husband Craig, Zack and his wife Brianne, Billy, and Johnny. Her memory will also live on through her adored great-grandchildren Hailey, Charlotte, Ben, Audriana, and Desmond, who brought her endless happiness.
Pearl spent most of her life in Ottawa, ON where she dedicated herself to making a positive impact on the lives of others. She had a deep passion for her family and enjoyed life to the fullest. Her selflessness was an inspiration to everyone around her. She will be remembered as a kind, caring, and compassionate person.
May she rest in peace, knowing she was dearly loved by those closest to her.
Please join us in celebrating the life of Pearl on Friday, May 31st from 11am – 1pm at Hulse, Playfair & McGarry- West Chapel, 150 Woodroffe Ave. Light food and refreshments will be served.
