In Memory of Melanie Gleason-Lemay
1978 – 2024
16/01/2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Melanie Gleason-Lemay after a courageous battle with leukemia on January 16th, 2024, at the age of 45 years. She was surrounded by her cherished children, family, and friends as she took her last breath.
She leaves behind her three precious children who made up the entirety of her world, Brayden Gleason-Mondesir, Makayla Gleason-Lemay and Kimaley Bailey. She also leaves her sister Nathalie Perron (late Daniel Jolicoeur), and friends especially Carole Charron and Orville Bailey.
She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of the Orleans Bengal and Cumberland Panthers football community. She dedicated 18 years of her life working for the City of Ottawa.
The family will receive condolences on Sunday February 4th at 1pm at the Heritage Funeral Complex in Orléans, Ontario, followed by a 2 pm celebration of life.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada foundation would be appreciated.
Online condolences may be shared at: www.heritagefh.ca
In our dreams, until we meet again…
Your Hug Meant the World
Nobody else held me so tight
Or made me feel so right
No one’s eyes shined so bright with love
As my mom, who is now high above.
