May 30, 1953 – August 22, 2024
Passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 22, 2024. Beloved wife and best friend of Yvan for over 40 years. Pre-deceased by her parents, Julien Langevin and Gilberte Choquet. Dear sister of Guy and the late Andre. Also survived by her niece Amelie and her 2 children, Ma-Eva and Jacob, and nephew Jean-Francois. Diane will be remembered by her many friends, neighbours, and Parish community.
Diane was a long-time parishioner of the Annunciation of the Lord Parish. She participated in the choir for 20 years, enjoying several activities of this vibrant parish, and has been very appreciative of the Companions of the Cross Community who have been serving the Parish for numerous years.
An avid gardener, Diane spent many hours tending to her flowers. She worked as a Canadian public servant for the CRA for over 40 years, always giving her best to the Human Resources Department and to all the friends she met.
Visitation will take place at Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church, 2414 Ogilvie Rd, Gloucester, ON, on September 7, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. The Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception in the church hall.
Special thanks to the staff of the Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus for professional care during Diane’s stay in the Intensive Care Unit.
In lieu of flowers, donations to any of the following would be gratefully appreciated:
Maryvale Academy (Ottawa), Chesterton Academy (Ottawa), Academia Stella Maris (Limoges), Companions of the Cross (Ottawa), or Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Parish (Ottawa).
