Aline left us peacefully to join the love of her life, her late husband, Rene. Her family is heartbroken.
She will be forever loved and remembered by her sons Philip (Sophie), Steven (Jen), by her daughter Monique (Wayne), and by her stepson Claude-Joe (Dorothy).
Mamie Aline to Nicolas, Sabastian & Amelia, and Bryan & Chelsea, Memere to Giverny & Kirk, Grand Memere to Owen & Liam, Great grandmother to Arabella & Abigail.
Aline will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Louise Corrigan (Dennis), Annette Paquin (Peter Sheridan), Yvonne Sousa (Roberto), Jeanne Paquin (Bob Davis) and Rosanne Grainger (Brian Miklaucic). She will be dearly missed by her loving aunt, Soeur Yvonne Paquin O.P.
She will also be missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Her sweet dog, Gigi, will miss her as well.
Aline was predeceased by her parents Rose Bouchard and Gerard Paquin and her brother Gerry Perrier.
Aline loved and was fiercely proud of her family. She was a kind and loving person who enjoyed reading, sewing, quilting and cross-stitching. She worked alongside her husband in their insurance brokerage for several years before leaving to raise her family. She returned to work for DMR/Fujitsu and later joined the Human Resource Department at CHEO where she was employed until her retirement.
Aline will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial Services will be held at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry located at 1200 Ogilvie Road. Visitations will be on Tuesday, July 16th, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Service will be in the St. Laurent Chapel on Wednesday, July 17th at 11am.
