It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ian Crowe, born September 21, 1966, who passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024. Ian was a beloved partner, cherished friend, and a devoted member of his hockey community. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Ian was the loving partner of Sandra, with whom he shared many happy years. Their bond was one of love, respect, and unwavering support. Sandra will always hold the special memories of their time together close to her heart. Ian’s love for her was clear to everyone, and it is a love that will continue to live on in her heart.
A passionate hockey fan, Ian was well-loved by his friends in the hockey community. His enthusiasm for the sport and the friendships he forged through the game brought joy to his life and to those around him. Ian’s laughter, kindness, and loyalty will be remembered by his teammates and friends for years to come.
Sandra would like to express her heartfelt thanks to Tara Lee Marchesin for her unwavering support during this difficult time. Tara’s kindness and assistance have been a great comfort as Sandra navigates this loss.
Ian’s memory will live on in the hearts of his partner, his hockey family, and all who had the privilege of calling him a friend. His legacy of love, friendship, and loyalty will never be forgotten.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday December 17, 2024 at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block East of Kerr Street) from 6 pm – 7 pm A celebration of Ian’s life will be held at 7 pm in the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your favourite charity.
Rest in peace, Ian. You will always be loved and never forgotten.
