Aldred “Al” Kellar – passed away in the comfort of his home after a brief illness on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. Loving husband & best friend for 30 years to Barbara (Walsh). Proud father of Amanda (Dave) Burke and adored step-father of Ronald (Johanna) Pillar. Grampa will always be cherished in the hearts of his grandchildren Ocean, Coral, Marshal, Brittany and his great-granddaughter Briella. Alfred will be sadly missed by his brothers Harvey (late Jackie), Donnie (Cathy), Steve (Corinna), and by his sisters Sheila (Cecil) Hawley and Linda (Mikel) Warren. Pre-deceased by his parents Mervon & Annabel Kellar, and his brothers Bryan (Sandy), Richard, and Gary. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends at the Milestone Funeral Center, Northbrook on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 11am to 1pm. The Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 1pm. A Celebration of his life will follow in Al’s Shop following the Memorial Service at 64 Varty Rd. Tweed. Friends desiring may contribute in his memory to a charity of your choice.
