It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of a wonderful lady, Judy B. McFarlane (nee Schell), a wife, mother, and grandma.
After fifty-seven years of marriage to Walter we are so sad that Judy, mother of Scott (Erin Morris), and Ross leaves beloved grandson Grayden McFarlane, and granddaughter Lauryn Ashley. Judy is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Judy always ensured that the needs of her family were looked after before her own. However, an illness took this happy, loving, and caring lady from us.
Judy was predeceased by her parents Edith and Percy Schell, sister Shirley Mainville and her husband Mike, and her brother Chuck (Donna). Judy was also predeceased by three half-sisters, and five half-brothers.
As per Judy’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral. A private internment will take place at a later date.
Judy’s family would like to acknowledge the caregivers who regularly attended to Judy during her illness, as well as Dr. T. Rotondo, Dr. Jinnah, as well as the volunteers and staff at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice.
Judy’s family would like to thank the Nipissing Serenity Hospice for making the last several months of Judy’s life much easier, our community is truly blessed with this facility.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Judy’s name to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
