MCILROY, Bryan Floyd–
It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Bryan, surrounded by his family at home on July 3, 2024, at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Heather (nee Pennanen) for 53 years. Loving father of Erin McIlroy (Greg Hoggan), and Dana Pecaski (Anthony) Adored by Hannah and Emmott Hoggan. Dear brother of Sharon Dyck (John), and Marilyn Brodhagen, and brother-in-law of Lawrence Pennanen, Brian Pennanen (Sherri), Valerie Forbes (Jim Whillier), and Lisa Pennanen. Cherished son-in-law of Jean Pennanen. Predeceased by parents Edward and Selina McIlroy, and father-in-law and friend Elmer Pennanen, siblings Don McIlroy (Betty), Wayne McIlroy, and Cliff Brodhagen. Reunited with good friends Paul Campagna, and Mike Sirianni. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Bryan’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to nurse Jocelyne, Dr. Manser, and Pat Eberly, for their care, support, and compassion.
The family will receive friends at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main St., Niagara Falls, on Friday July 5, 2024, between 2-4 and 6-8pm, as well as on Saturday July 6, 2024, between 11am and 12pm. A service to celebrate the life of Bryan will begin at 12pm, with interment at St. Davids-Queenston Cemetery to follow.
