After a short illness, Wallace passed peacefully at Ed’s House November 16, 2024.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Myrtle of 73 years and his 4 children, Shelia(Tug), Candy(Buzz), Mary (Tony) and Wally(Cheryl).
He also leaves behind his grandchildren and step grandchildren,Fred, Laura(Darren), Steve, Theresa(Chris), Niki(Travis), Ryan, Nina(Chris), Johnathan, Troy, Adam, and predeceased Richie.
His many great grandchildren include:Joel(Emily),Adam, Kyle, Caleb, Bailey, Madison, Grace, Vaughn, Danielle, Faith, Alex and Owen. He is predeceased by parents Pearl and John Tidd and siblings Vinald Tidd, Johny Tidd(Goldie), Gene Tidd(Doreen),Leora Nancarol(Fred) and Marjorie Parker(Norma).
Wallace was born and raised in Nova Scotia where he spent the early part of his life. In 1957, he moved his family to Ontario and built a beautiful life. He began his career as a truck driver, a profession he dedicated himself to for over 50 years before retiring.
His passion and love for hunting and fishing took him back to Nova Scotia and Newfoundland many times over the years with friends and family.
Wallace was a prankster and always loved a good joke.
He was proof that ‘an apple a day keeps the Dr. away’ .Core and all.
He was loved by his family and friends and will be missed by many.
