Peter “Pixie” Ellis passed away quietly late afternoon on August the 23rd of 2024 after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Beloved father of Philip and Melissa, step-father of Andrea, and grandfather of Jarod, Mackenzie, Lisbeth and Sloane. He was a proper English gentleman, who courageously left his home, ventured across the pond and moved to Canada to raise a family. Peter’s sense of humor, his antics and his dedication to his family will be forever missed. He loved entertaining, telling stories, and exploring (and maybe getting lost from time to time). He was known for making legendary breakfasts, and purchasing anything and everything that was tacky. Boating, fishing, camping and sitting at a campfire while drinking a pint will never be the same without him.
Friends and family are invited to gather on Thursday September 5th 2024 at NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME for a celebration of life from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. Please join us for a pint after at The Snug (Newcastle).
If so desired, memorial donations may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research
