After a courageous 5 year battle with leukemia, It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our Spartan Warrior Paul.
Paul was 62 years old, born on July 25, 1962 in Toronto. He was the beloved son of Jean Truelove.
Paul was a hard-working, dedicated man. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was a true warrior in every sense. Paul’s passion was his family and his spartan races. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Paul is survived by his loving wife Dolores, his son David (Vilija) his daughter Amy (Levi) his beloved grandchildren Alex, Hunter, Andrew, Hayden, Lucy, Hudson and Henrick, his brother Mike (Diana) brothers-in-law Franz, Graham (Shelley) Allan (deceased) mother-in-law Karen, sisters-in-law Barbara, Marita, Cristel (deceased) and many other loved nieces and nephews and extended family.
A service will be held on Monday September 30, 2024 at the Newcastle Funeral Home. A private family visitation will be held from 11:00-11:30, a public visitation from 11:30-13:00 followed by the funeral service. A small reception will follow the funeral service.
Donations can be made in Paul’s name to Sunnybrook Leukemia Unit and Ed’s House Hospice in Cobourg.
