1954 – 2023
Debra Ann (Lance) Desormeaux, (Debbie) – age 69 of Elk Lake, Ontario passed away suddenly of a heart attack on Saturday, December 16th, 2023.
As per Debbie’s wishes a cremation will take place and there will be a celebration of life at a later date during summer of 2024.
Debbie is survived by close friend Danny Cormier, Family: Randy of North Bay, Andy (Chicky) (Marlene) of Kirkland Lake, Donna O’Neil (Mike) of Tecumseh, Grant of Larder Lake, SharLene of Windsor, Timmy (Tammy) of Pembroke, Shelly (Joe) Clause of Windsor and loved by many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by Alan (Dizzy) Desormeaux, her husband of 50 years, father Orville Lance, mother Betty Lance (Bell), brother Ricky.
Debbie was born in Pembroke, Ontario to Orville and Betty Lance on November 28, 1954. Debbie worked at many different jobs through her life in Elk Lake, and her latest endeavor was curator of the Elk Lake Museum. She totalled loved meeting all the visitors and touring them through the museum and her enthusiasm in sharing her Elk Lake knowledge.
Her love of people always shone through. She was kind and loving and had many close friends in Elk Lake, as well as all her facebook family far and wide.
Her dogs Bobby, Peewee, Finnigan, and Casey were her babies. Spoiled beyond belief.
The family would like to extend their gratitude and thanks to her loving lifelong community of Elk Lake
