DAVY, Mildred “Pearl”
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Pearl on Monday, January 1, 2024 at Village Green Care Home, at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Claude for 56 years. Loving mother of David Davy (Natalie Kleinczmit), Janet Leach (Patrick), Douglas Davy, and Dale Davy (Kelly). Cherished grandmother of Everly. She will forever be missed by her brothers and sisters and their families.
From 1979 up until a few years ago Pearl and Claude operated their family business, Havenhill Acres, and were vendors at the Kingston and Napanee Farmers Markets. They spent many years together selling fruit and vegetables to the community. In Pearl’s spare time she enjoyed reading and crocheting. She also enjoyed spending her winter holidays with Claude in Barbados.
The family would like to thank all the staff at both The Home and Community Care Support Services and at the Village Green for their continued care and support.
Friends will be received at Wartman Funeral Home, Napanee on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 12-2 pm with a service to follow in the chapel at 2pm.
For those wishing to give a donation in memory of Pearl the family has requested the Diabetes Canada or Hope For Dementia. Condolences and donations may be forwarded online through wartmanfuneralhome.com
