Beatrice Eveline Glen 1933 – 2024
Eveline chose to leave the world on April 9th surrounded by her loving family.
She was predeceased by Ralph her devoted husband of over 60 years, her daughter Kelly, and her beloved son Roger.
She is survived by her brother Jim Macfarlane, his daughter Darlene (John
Morrissey) and their children. Eveline is also survived by her precious granddaughters Rhiannon, Aysia (Carlos Vieira) and Alethea and her three special great grandchildren Tyanna, Kaleb, and Scarlett. Her grandchildren brought her great joy. She cherished the times she spent with them, and they will forever remember her constant source of love and support.
Ev and Ralph were charter members of Port Credit Yacht Club where they enjoyed many years of sailing on their boats O Pato, Soquoylia, Reality II, Moderation and Silverglen. Their love of sailing led them to a love of cruising and together they cruised all over the world enjoying many new experiences and making many new friends. They were often given the Most Frequent Sailor Award by the Ship’s Captain.
Dining at their favourite restaurant, Piatto, also brought them great joy. Piatto, where they were treated like family, was where they chose to celebrate all of life’s milestones. They both enjoyed the good life!
Eveline will be sadly missed by her many friends, by her special in-laws Don and Dorothy, and by her family.
