PETERS, REGINALD
In hospital, with his family by his side on Friday December 1, 2023, Reginald Peters at the age of 82. Loving Husband for 58 years to his late Wife Virginia who passed earlier this year. Dearest father of Gordon (Andrea), Michael (Shelley) and Charlene (Jamie Dunn). Proud grandfather of Jesse, Leigh, Melissa, Kristina, Lindsay, Nichole and great-grandfather to Mason, Leah, Colton, Jayce, Blake and Percy. Brother of Doug and the late Fred, Frank and Lawrence (Butch). Always remembered by his cousin Donald Franklin (Pat) who he worked along side for many years. His beloved dogs Gerdy and Harold will miss their 9 pm snacks together. Reg Grew up in Kingston and Millhaven Ontario and moved to Ottawa in the Mid 1970s and was Employed at National Grocers (Loblaws) for over 42 years. A dedicated family man with a heart of gold and an incredible sense of humor. Thanks to Doctor Archibald for 30 years of care and special thanks to Karen, Melanie, Stephanie, Claudia, Jen, Sara and Barb and the rest of the staff for making Dialysis tolerable, you were like family to him. Family and friends are invited to Celebrate Reg’s life at the Daley Family Funeral Home, 6971 Bank St. on Saturday December 9 from 11 am until 1 pm. If desired donations made to the Dialysis Unit at Winchester District Memorial Hospital, 566 Louise St. Winchester, ON K0C 2K0 or Kidney Canada would be appreciated.
