McEvoy, Peter Dennis
Peacefully after a long battle with kidney and heart disease on Monday, December 23, 2024 at the age of 89. Son of the late Gus and May (Hurley) McEvoy. Brother of the late Orville (late Eunice), Lillian (late Archie Sayant), Dorothy (late Donald McDonald), Helen (late Lloyd Tierney), Philip (Eleanor), Joseph (late Ann), Patrick and Ron (Joe-Ann). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Peter was an educator for over 40 years, primarily with the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry School Board. He was a teacher, vice principal and superintendent of adult education. He was deeply devoted to his students and his faith. Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2546 Stagecoach Road Enniskerry, on Saturday, Dec. 28 at 11 a.m. If desired, donations to Kidney Foundation of Canada1701 Woodward Dr. Suite LL18 Ottawa, ON K2C 2B5 would be appreciated.
