COCHRANE, MARION (Guy)
With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Marion Cochrane on Saturday November 11, 2023 at the Osgoode Care Centre at the age of 91. She was the loving mother of Barry (Valerie), Bryan (Laurie), Kevin (Kim) and Paul. Cherished grandmother to Sarah, Jennifer, Michael, Erin, Kaley, Ryan, Jamie, John, Erika, Kelsey, Emily and Cale. Great grandma to 13. Sister to Lloyd (Marilyn) Guy and the late Keith (Betty) Guy. Marion was a strong woman who had her hands full raising four busy boys. A long-time community volunteer, she worked countless hours for the Russell Curling Club and Lions Club. She was an avid reader and Senators fan who loved travel, cooking, gardening, and baking. Her pies and butter tarts are legendary. She will be remembered for her kindness, independence, strength, sense of humour and love of family, friends and neighbours. We are all grateful for the time we had with this special woman. Special thanks to the tremendous staff at the Osgoode Care Centre who took such wonderful care of her. Please celebrate her life with us at the Russell Curling Club on Saturday November 25th from 1:30 -4:30 pm.
