Peacefully in hospital surrounded by family on Tuesday November 5, 2024 John Lubbers at the age of 91. Loving husband of Christine (de Kleer). Beloved father of Joanne, Adeline (Rick Cumming), Fenny (late Donald Marquis), John (Dawn) and Christopher (Amy). Proud grandfather of Mark (Madeline), Justin, Katelyn, Kristina, Stephanie and Dean. Brother to Janny (Louw) and the late Henk (late Jutta), Dina, Roelof (late Joan) and Fenna (late Gerrit). Family and friends are invited to gather at the Daley Family Funeral Home, 6971 Bank Street, Metcalfe from 2-5 pm on Sunday November 10. Funeral Service Monday November 11 at Calvary Christian Reformed Church, 3782 Russell Rd at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, 40 Ruskin St. Ottawa, ON K1Y 4W7 or the Ottawa Food Bank, 2001 Bantree St. Ottawa, K1B 4X3 would be appreciated.
