Dorey, Evelyn
Evelyn passed away peacefully at Errinrung Nursing Home in Thornbury on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at the age of 75.
Born in Germany on February 23, 1949, Evelyn was a daughter of the late Herbert and Frieda Johanna (nee Frenzel) Schumann.
She will be missed by her husband Charlie ‘Sonny’ Dorey.
Evelyn was the much-loved mother of Charlie Dorey Jr. and Dereck Dorey, and will be remembered fondly by the Dorey family and her extended family.
She was very proud of her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A public visitation will take place at the Ferguson Funeral Home on Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 3 until 5 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday, November 25, 2024 at 10 o’clock, with interment following at Lakeview Cemetery.
