Bernadette Lynch (nee Mahoney)
passed away on September 19th surrounded by her family at Belmont Long Term Care (Belleville) in her 85th year.
Predeceased by the love her life Morris Lynch.
Grieving are her children Mike (Catherine), Cathy, Kim and Ken.
Loved by the joys of her life, her grandchildren; Jonathan, Curtis (Samantha), Cole, Meagan, Maryanna, Kyle and Teresa.
Beloved Great Grandma to Brooklynn, Maverick and Olivia.
Loving sister, sister in law, and aunt to so many in the Mahoney/Lynch families.
She was a friendly smile, and a welcome face for all who she served at Lynch’s Frosted Foods store in Marmora. Lifelong member of the Catholic Women’s League and parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish ~ Marmora. She valued family, faith and community. She served quietly, and constantly to all three throughout her life. Known as a master baker, tricky card player and unusually lucky bingo player.
The family wishes to thank her father, Caressant Care Marmora family, and Her Belmont LTC family, the blessing of Shirley as her loving caregiver and friend these last months. You all took care of our mom at her most vulnerable time of life and we will forever hold you with gratitude and love.
The family will receive friends at Rushnell Funeral Home, 9 Bursthall Street, Marmora (613-472-2531) on Monday, from 4-7 pm and again on Tuesday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 38 Bursthall Street, Marmora from 9-10 am. Funeral Mass to follow at 10 am. Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery. Father Justin Pulikunnel officiating.
