God called Helen peacefully on September 17th , 2024, at the age of 97. Helen is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Emilio. Cherished by her dear Ron (Daniela) and Rich (Jackie). Proud grandmother to Justin (Sonia), Michael (Krizia), David (Heather), Amanda (Graham), Jenny (Mike), and Stefanie (Nick). Adoring greatgrandmother to Willow, Everleigh, and Saylor. Helen will always be remembered by her siblings, Alma, Gloria and Rick. Reunited in heaven with her loving brother Frank.Helen was an amazing woman, always putting family first. She would lovingly cook Sunday dinners for the entire clan, even in her later years when such things became difficult. No one was allowed to leave without leftovers. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Helen may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.A special thanks to Helen’s caregivers, Bing, Elma and Emily, who cared for Helen like she was family. Thanks also to the staff, residents and family members of Humber Meadows.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Friday, September 20th 2024, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.The Chapel Service will be celebrated on Saturday, September 21 st ,2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Vescio Funeral Home- Woodbridge Chapel. (8101 Weston Rd., north of Hwy 7). Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery (on Bathurst St., north of Finch Ave.)
