God called Franca Matilde Potito peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on September 29, 2023, at the age of 63. She is now reunited in heaven with her beloved parents, Antonio and Gilda. Cherished by her dear siblings Luciana, Silvio, Marisa (Raymond) and Alex (Rosana). Loving Zia to Anthony, Mena (Vito), Vinny, Christina, Mark, Nicolina, and Giorgio. Proud great Zia to Mya and Emma. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. If so desired, donations in memory of Franca Matilde may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Roch’s Roman Catholic Church. (2889 Islington Ave., south of Steeles Ave.). Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (on Hwy 27 south of Hwy 7).
