God called Carmelo peacefully on September 21, 2024 at the age of 89. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Assunta. Cherished by his dear children, Robert (Stefania), Tony (Bernadette) and Giuseppina. Proud Nonno to Robert Jr. (Tiernay), Alexander (Christina), Christian (Alessandra), Francesco, Joseph and Isabella. Carmelo is reunited in Heaven with his siblings Santina, Giovanni, Concetta, Ausilia and Nino. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. In memory of Carmelo donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Maple Chapel (211 McNaughton Road East 905-303-0770) on Tuesday September 24, 2024 from 4-8 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday September 25, 2024, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Padre Pio Parish (5500 Major Mackenzie Dr., west of Islington Ave.). Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St., north of Finch Ave.).
