In Loving Memory of Mukund (Mike) Godbole
August 27, 1937 – September 23, 2023
Passed away unexpectedly in Kingston General Hospital Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the age of 86 years. Cherished father of Sarita Godbole (Mike Schroeter) and dear grandfather of Emily.
He was predeceased by his parents Gangadhar and Sushila Godbole, wife Shashikala Godbole, brother Vasant Godbole and his wife Shubhada, sister Mrudula Kulkarni and her husband Hari, and his sister Suman Godbole. Brother-in laws Ravi Date, Vijay Date, Arun Date and sister-in-law Devohuti (Asha) Damle.
Survived by sister-in-law Hui Godbole, sister Ajita Naravane, Tara Padhye and their spouses. Also, will be missed by several nieces, grand nieces, nephews and grand nephews.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 2451 County Road 15 Maitland on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 10 am-11-am. A ceremony celebrating Mukund’s life commencing at 11:00 am at the Chapel immediately followed by cremation.
Guests are invited to stay for a reception at the conclusion of the ceremony. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Kidney Foundation of Canada will be gratefully acknowledged.
