Passed away peacefully at McCormick Home on Thursday, August 22nd, 2024, in his 96th year. Predeceased by his cherished wife, Jean, to whom he was married for 64 years, and eldest child, Patti (Kevin). Loving father to Sharon. Dear father and father-in-law to Bruce and his wife Jean. Dear grandfather to Meredith (Justin), Steven (Olivia), Benjamin (Dana), Paul (Rita), and John (Krystal). Tom was predeceased by his siblings Norman Orr (Marie), Jean Watt (Gary) and sister Kay Dow. He is survived by his brother-in-law Murray Dow. Tom was the beloved son of the late James and Annie Mary Orr, originally from Northern Ireland. Tom will be missed by his many nieces and nephews and dear friends. Tom’s family would like to thank the staff at McCormick Home for their kind and loving care. The memorial service will be conducted at Oakridge Presbyterian Church, 970 Oxford Street West, London on Friday, September 6th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Tom are asked to consider the Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre (formerly London Regional Cancer Program).
