Obituary of Steve Lealess
Peacefully, with grace and courage on Friday, August 30, 2024, Steve Lealess passed away at home at the age of 70.
Beloved husband of 13 years to Deborah Lealess (née Runions). Loving step-father to Tammy, Sean (Sheryl) and Rob. Cherished Grampa to Alec, Evan (Shanna) and Luke. Dear brother of Lynn (Mike). Son of Margaret Lealess (née Trott) & the late Ivan Lealess (1992). Greatly missed by his aunt Lenore Latulippe & uncle Gus Latulippe. Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Steve is also survived by his sons Jamie & Tyler and their families.
Steve will be fondly remembered by his colleagues at Sabic where he worked for over 30 years. Steve was an avid golfer and loved playing 5-pin bowling which he had been playing since he was 5 years old.
The family would like to extended a special thank you to Dr. Bevan and nurses Carrie & Erin, nurse Prakash along with Dr. MacLean and nurse Jennifer for all their care and support.
Cremation has taken place. A gathering to celebrate Steve’s life will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St., London, Ontario (between Colborne & Waterloo St.), on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 2-5 p.m.
Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Ronald McDonald House or Make-A-Wish Foundation in memory of Steve. Online condolences can be expressed at www.loganfh.ca
A tree will be planted, by the Logan Funeral Home, as a living memorial to Stephen J. Lealess.
