Passed away at Victoria Manor Nursing Home, Lindsay on Thursday July 4, 2024, at the age of 98. Sheila was pre-deceased by her husbands Keith Rickard (1965), and James McDonald Gayfer (1997).
Loving mother of; Scott (Margaret) Rickard of Omemee, Patty-Lin Holdin of Germany, Jim (Janice) Gayfer of Ottawa and Dr. John (Carrie) Gayfer of Victoria BC. Loved Nana of; Sean (Carly) Rickard of Manitoulin Island, Laura Rzeznik of Guelph, Sarah Gayfer of Ajax, Kristen Keane of Ottawa, and great Nana of; Oliver, Ava & Finn, Lukasz, Izaac, & Theo, Sterling & Hazel.
In keeping with Sheila’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Memorial Donations to the Ross Memorial Hospital Auxiliary would be greatly appreciated by the family, and can be made by cheque through the funeral home.
