Grant Askew Obituary
Passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital on January 5th, 2024 in his 91st year. Grant leaves behind his devoted wife of 67 ½ years Angela Askew (nee Hyde) of Hespeler. He is survived by son Micheal Askew (Linda). He is now at rest with beloved children John Askew, Jeffrey Askew & Wendy Askew-Allan. Cherished grandfather of Cheryl McGregor (Jay), Jordan Askew (Ashley), Brayden Askew, Mackenzie Allan, Matthew Allan & Sarah Allan. He will be forever remembered by great grandchildren Jaylyn, Carson, John & Bellami. Missed by siblings Henry & Barbara. Predeceased by brother Stanley.
While Grant was in the Peace Corps, he spent 18 months in Korea, he spoke about this often and was proud of his accomplishments throughout his time within the Peace Corps. Grant joined the O.P.P and worked out of Smithville and Welland and retired in 1986. During his retirement Grant spent his time Boating on Pigeon Lake
As per Grants’ wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
