Paighton Marie Hoffman

It is with great sadness that the family of Paighton Marie Hoffman announce her passing on November 14, 2024. She has now joined The Lord in Heaven.
Paighton, “P”, “Peanut”, “Paighton Mareezy” born February 12, 2008, was the most beloved only child of Brittney Anne Hoffman, the first daughter of Craig James Fick and a bonus daughter to Giovanna Longo.
Missing her immensely is “Papa” Stan Hoffman, who was also her best buddy, driving instructor, math tutor and one of her biggest supporters.
“Nana” Maureen Power- Hoffman will miss her “pew buddy” at Most Precious Blood Church, thrifting and going to Mr. Puffs.
“Bonus Mom” Giovanna Longo was a guiding and protective light for Paighton.
Her sisters Jessie and Sophia shared many happy memories and will miss her dearly.
She will also be missed by “Grandma” Sandy LaPorte and “Auntie” Trisha Fick, who helped foster her love of helping those with special needs.
Paighton was always happy to join Sunday dinners at “Grandma” Debbie Bastien, and “Grandpa” Brian Fick’s house. She also enjoyed swimming there in the summer.
Left to mourn her loss are her aunts and uncles, Matthew Fick, Mark and Colleen Savage, Craig and Beth Bondy, Mathieu and Nicolette Savage, Brendan and Devon Savage, Monica Hanson, Joan McLoughlin, Rita Tellier, Celia and Rob Henney, Angela DaSilva, Karly and Jason Lozon, Dana Bastien, the late Anthony Bastien.
Her cousins Jonah, Hannah, Brayden, Emma, Alex, Lyndon, Justice, Brandon, Serenity and Jayden.
Paighton will always be remembered by her boyfriend, Aidan Alarcon, who she called her prince, and the reason for so many of her smiles.
She adored her fur babies, Trigger and Charlotte a.k.a. princess Charlotte.
Paighton was in grade 11 at Brennan High School where she was involved in various activities. She was on Student Council as the Minister of Social Media and Communications. While attending Brennan, she played hockey, soccer and basketball for the school teams. She was filled with pride and joy when she was accepted to join the Caboto competitive soccer club.
Paighton was baptized and made her sacraments at Most Precious Blood Church. Recently, she found her faith growing with the Lord at Parkwood Gospel Church.
Paighton loved the Lord and found joy in spreading the word of the Lord Jesus. This led her to create “Produce His Fruit” clothing line with Aidan to spread the love and kindness of Jesus.
Arrangements entrusted to Reid Funeral Home, 87 Maidstone Ave. E, Es (519-776-4233). Visitation will be held at Parkwood Gospel Church, 3005 Temple Dr, Windsor on Monday, November 25, 2024 from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Parkwood Gospel Church Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 11 a.m. A procession will take place following the Funeral Service from Parkwood Gospel Church to Heavenly Rest Cemetery for Burial.
