Edward Michael John Regan, of LaSalle, passed away at home at the age of 82 on the 27th of August, 2024. Edward was a loving and devoted husband to his high school sweetheart, Shirley for 62 years. He was loved deeply by his 3 daughters Michelle (Lisa), Christine (Richard) and Annette (Greg). Ed was also the proud grandfather of Shaun, Amanda, Edward, Preston, Courtney and Corinne (Adam), as well as great grandfather to Connor and Mackenzie. He is predeceased by his mother Helen (Regan) Arnason and his parents-in-law Dolores and Sheridan B. Atkinson.
Edward was the proud founder and co-owner of Redoe Mold for 40 years alongside his business partner Patrick Endo. Together, with his wife Shirley, they built a strong company with a stellar reputation. Redoe Mold remains a world-class global mold manufacturer that is still going strong throughout North America and Asia. Ed shared his mold making expertise as Director and also President of the Windsor Association of Mold Makers and he was instrumental in the creation of the Canadian Association of Mold Makers (CAMM).
Outside of work and family, Ed will be remembered as a man full of life and adventure. He was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus, an avid boater, hunter, fisherman, wood carver and recreational diver.
The family would like to express their deep appreciation for all of the caregivers who worked tirelessly to give Ed the care he needed over the past seven years. Their love has been deeply felt by the family and will always be treasured.

At Ed’s request, cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, with parish prayers at 7:30 pm at Families First, 2130 Front Road, LaSalle (519-969-5841). On Wednesday, September 4, 2024, a funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 1425 Divine St, LaSalle at 11 am.
