Died Thursday, September 28, 2023 after a valiant battle with cancer at Freeport Hospital in Kitchener at the age of 67.
Predeceased by his father Leo (1988), sister Nancy (2016) and his loving mother Bernice (2023).
William is survived by his Aunt Barb Zettler (Harold), Diana Della Costa Rich plus many nieces and nephews.
A dedicated and former employee of Barber Collins where he developed long lasting friendships. William also enjoyed his cats, especially Maple.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. with the service at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kitchener Waterloo Humane Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
